✨ 2025: A Year of Light, Hope, and Community ✨
As we reflect on 2025, our hearts are filled with gratitude and pride for what has been accomplished together at the Northern Lights Foundation.
This foundation was started in 2006 to honor the memory of my newborn daughter, Nicole Marie Larson, and what began as a deeply personal mission has grown into a community-wide effort rooted in love, compassion, and hope.
Because of you, our donors, sponsors, volunteers, board members, families, and community partners, we are proud to share that since our founding, we have raised more than $1.75 million and helped over 300 local families who have a child facing a life-threatening illness.
This past year was also especially meaningful as the work of the Northern Lights Foundation was recognized beyond our local community:
• Honored with the Minnesota Association of Realtors Good Neighbor Award (2024)
• Recognized nationally with the National Association of REALTORS® Good Neighbor Award (2025)
• Celebrated on a national stage at the National Association of Realtors Convention, shining a light on the impact of our local mission
These honors truly belong to everyone who has supported this work. They reflect the heart, generosity, and compassion of an entire community.
Together in 2025, we continued to:
• Provide meaningful grants that eased financial stress during incredibly difficult times
• Support families with dignity, compassion, and hope, always keeping every dollar raised local
• Strengthen our programs and partnerships through extraordinary volunteer leadership
• Build a strong, sustainable foundation for the future rooted in trust, transparency, and love
